“To be carried by a legend” is one way of putting it, but to act upon the needs of
others, and to do what others won’t truly defines your legacy.
(Greenwood, IN and Austin, TX, September 06, 2018) - The Fallen Heroes Memorial Run, produced by Operation Valor Inc., announces their renewed partnership with LegendBorne. The Fallen Heroes Memorial Run encompasses a full weekend of activities planned in conjunction with the Dallas Spartan Race Weekend held annually in Glen Rose, TX. This year will mark their third year of mutual cooperation to support our nation’s veterans.
“Being able to support such an amazing cause that hits home for us at LegendBorne is not only
an honor, but a blessing as well. We are stoked to be able to work with Sean and his AMAZING
team in this partnership. To be able to honor Chris Kyle and Chad Littlefield and other veterans
via the work of Operation Valor is very near and dear to my heart as a Soldier and combat
veteran. Every dime that is brought in by Operation Valor is given over to charity because of
Sean’s dedicated team of volunteers. Their generosity sets the bar high for all other
organizations to follow and I think the concept behind Operation Valor defines a meaning of
LegendBorne. “To be carried by a legend” is one way of putting it, but to act upon the needs of
others, and to do what others won’t truly defines your legacy. That is how you become legendary. Operation Valor not only pays homage to Chris Kyle and Chad Littlefield, but to all veterans. ” said David Bryant, CEO of LegendBorne Sportswear.
ABOUT THE FALLEN HEROES MEMORIAL RUN:
The Fallen Heroes Memorial Run was founded in 2014 originally as the Chris Kyle Memorial Run.
As the foundation and event have continued to grow the event name has changed to reflect the
expanding scope of the project. A Veteran-operated and 100% volunteer non-profit, Operation
Valor, Inc., producer of the annual event, continues to honor and pay tribute to Chris Kyle and
Chad Littlefield, as well as to help veterans who are unable to return to us whole, either physically or emotionally. Operation Valor works year-round to identify and fully vet notable 501c3 organizations dedicated to providing service programs to assist Veterans in need.

“Once again, we are ecstatic to partner with LegendBorne! David Bryant has supported our
foundation and all of our efforts since the inception of this effort! I already own 3 of their jerseys
and am always exceptionally satisfied with their ultra-high quality, comfort, and durability.
LegendBorne jerseys are THE perfect top to wear for OCR’s, trail runs, Rugby, and even for
regular/daily gym workouts. The fact that LegendBorne continues to evolve their materials and
products while still offering detailed customization options on every garment they sell, speaks
volumes about their dedication to the community and their customers. I’m happy to again work
with David and the entire LegendBorne team, and I am proud to call them my friends as well!”
said Sean Valigura, Chairman and Executive Director of Operation Valor”
LegendBorne began when the founder and CEO David Bryant, a former rugby player and current high level referee, saw the need to outfit a growing rugby community with high quality gear that would stand the test of time. Our rugby gear looks polished and sharp while being able to ruck right over the best of them. Then one weekend at battle assembly he overheard one of his Soldiers talking about a “mud race.” Little did David know, that conversation would come to change the face of the entire sport, now more affectionately known as Obstacle Course Racing. LegendBorne has created garments that are made specifically for the sport of OCR.
We test, test, and test again to make sure that our OCR specific fabric stands up to all you put it through from barbed wire crawls, walls, and spears, to all that mud. Join the LegendBorne family and see what the difference is! https://www.LegendBorne.com
