The incredible duo known throughout the OCR community as “Team Blind Pete,” (Pete Cassaboon and Joey McGlamory), have just been named Ambassadors for BONEFROG, the
world’s only obstacle course race owned and designed by Navy Seals.
Pete and Joey began their journey together in 2015. Since then, they have raced in more than 160 OCR events together, several of which were with BONEFROG. Among their many accomplishments are a second place podium finish in 2018, as well as receiving the coveted gold pin for the completion of a fifth lap in BONEFROG’s multi lap race.
Pete and Joey explained that “It is our goal to do as many races as possible to continue to spread our message of ‘NO EXCUSES!’ By doing so, it is our hope to show the world that no matter what life’s ‘obstacles’ we face, we can adapt and overcome them and do anything we set our minds to”.
“BONEFROG’s selection of these outstanding athletes to join our ambassador team was in
recognition of their ability to conquer life’s challenges and their undeniable positive impact on
the OCR community. BONEFROG’s mission is to challenge, build and inspire participants to
become better athletes, and to recognize that they can do anything they set their minds to. For
this reason, we could not think of better representatives than Team Blind Pete,” said Brian
Carney, CEO and founder, Said Brian Carney, CEO and founder, of BONEFROG.
BONEFROG was created by Navy SEALs to Challenge, Build and Inspire participants to become better athletes and recognize that they can do anything they set their minds to, while enjoying the camaraderie and teamwork usually reserved for Active Duty Navy SEALs. BONEFROG is truly a unique experience. With 50 Navy SEAL-style obstacles on courses that range from 3-11 miles, the course will test everyone and leave no one unscathed. We attempt to place an obstacle approximately every quarter mile (when venues permit), so your running ability alone will not carry the day. To find out more, please visit www.bonefrogchallenge.com.
